During our summer program, we hire professional teachers to coach our college-aged teaching fellows through their first classroom experiences. Coaches observe teaching fellows, give feedback, provide professional development, and meet in small departments to plan lessons and learn instructional skills. Under the guidance of their coaches, teaching fellows grow tremendously, and many go on to pursue careers in education. The commitment is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 2 PM, Fridays off or used for remote work, and runs from June 9 - August 3. The compensation is an $8,000 stipend.
